TrailBlazer SS is a serious performer and a capable midsize SUV. Riding on a one-inch-lower suspension, the TrailBlazer SS’s suspension was tuned and tested on the racetrack to deliver responsive, balanced handling. The lower ride height reduces the vehicle’s center of gravity, improving overall handling. The springs are up to 25 percent stiffer than the LT model, complementing the lowered ride height with a firmer feel and reduced body roll. Corner control and body roll control also are improved with front stabilizer bars that are approximately 10 percent larger in diameter than other TrailBlazer models. StabiliTrak electronic stability control is standard.
The four-wheel-disc with ABS brake system uses large, 12.8-inch (325 mm) front disc brake rotors and iron, twin-piston calipers. The heavy-duty iron calipers are stiff and retain their shape under high pressure/high heat braking conditions, providing a more linear feel and reduced pedal travel in high-energy stops. There also is an accessory front brake cooling package available for optimized track performance. With TrailBlazer SS’s brakes, tires and revised ABS algorithm, 62-mph-to-0 (100-kp/h-to-0) stopping distance is approximately 135 feet.
Under the hood, the LS2 6.0L V-8 delivers satisfying down-low torque, for strong off-the-line performance. Torque is inherent to the engine’s cam-in-block design, large 4.00-inch-diameter (101.6 mm) bores and 3.62-inch (92 mm) stroke. Response is crisp and immediate, thanks to the electronically controlled throttle. There also is a stylish SS-specific engine cover, radiator support cover and coordinated air induction box.
Backing the 6.0L V-8 is a new Hydra-Matic 4L70 electronically controlled four-speed automatic transmission. It was developed to handle the high horsepower and high torque loads of performance-oriented light-duty vehicles. Special high-strength and heat-treated materials are used in the 4L70 to ensure it delivers smooth, dependable shifting.
A performance-oriented all-wheel drive system is available, giving the TrailBlazer SS impressive on-road grip and enhanced “launch” feel. The always-engaged system uses a Torsen center differential to split torque between the front and rear wheels. Isuzu Axiom SUV is perfect car, Axiom is a large SUV, which offers an on-demand four-wheel drive. The car has an automatic transmission with two different modes. The modes were winter and power modes. The car also had an adjustable suspension. The looks of the car were appealing than most other competitors in the market.
The front looks of the SUV are very belligerent and quite uncommon in its class. However, the interiors have been designed very interestingly with chrome and black accents. The gearbox has a chrome bar surrounded by leather. The SUV has power lock and window control features. The knob for controlling the four-wheel drive is large and placed on the right. The air condition of the SUV is effective.The SUV is large and very spacious for a good seating. The rear seats can be folded down and have a 30/20 split. By folding, more space can be created for cargo. The outside visibility is panormic with large mirrors for the driver's aid.
The engine of Axiom is very powerful delivering 230 horsepower but the ride quality is cranky. The power mode can be used for acceleration even uphill. The standard mode of the Axiom is low on power but better on fuel efficiency. The mileage of the Axiom is cool for a SUV of that size. It is around 16kms per liter in city and it goes up to 20kms on the highways.However, the SUV is spacious and large enough but the ride quality is not up to the expected standards. It is very bumpy and sloppy. The handling of the car is also sub standard. As the tires make sound even on making gentle turns.
The other features that interest most people in a Axiom are CD player with stereo speakers and automatic climate control. There are other luxury features like central information display, leather seats and four-wheel antilock brakes.The Axiom is good ride for those who are looking for a SUV high on mileage, medium on luxury and low on pocket. The Isuzu needs to develop better cars with improved handling, ergonomics and ride quality to stay in the market. Otherwise the future looks bleak.

Alfa Romeo MiTo R.I.A.R. Limited Edition the luxurious car. The News Car Italian manufacturer Alfa Romeo has revealed a special edition model Mito, to celebrate the 46 anniversary of the club RIAR (Registro Italiano Alfa Romeo). The new limited edition benefits from a black outside, on 17 inch wheels and accessories painted in red. Other exterior modifications include an aileron, rear speaker, the headlights and fog parking sensors. Interior find sports seats, black or red leather, climate zones and two insertions of carbon fiber. Alfa Romeo Mito RIAR is propelled by a 4-cylinder engine that develops 170 horsepower. Only 46 copies will be produced, starting price will be 20,000 euros.

Nissan Nismo Frontier GalleryThe Nissan Frontier would be out of place covered in rhinestones. It's a plain-Jane truck designed to do hard work in the country. And I love that. Everything about it is easy to operate and easy to understand. It's comfortable and roomy, at least in the front seat, because mid-size trucks today are nearly as spacious as the full-size trucks from Hank's era. They're as different as Merele Haggard and Faith Hill. But the fact that these two completely different vehicles could both fall under the same "pickup" category is astonishing.
